One of the most famous nursery rhymes of all time, twinkle twinkle Little Star is based on the poem called 'The Star; by Jane Taylor in the 19th century.

The popular melody comes from a french children's song called 'Ah! Vous dirai - je, maman' which means 'Oh! Shall i tell you, mama'!
